RuuviTag. Less, on purpose
Free RuuviTag reader for iOS 26+. Deeply iPhone, small and focused. Out of your way until you need it. Widgets and Watch. Requires a RuuviTag nearby.
Claim a tag to see a live reading on iPhone, last-heard on widgets, and the same claimed tags on Apple Watch when you are nearby. No account, no history, no background scan.
Built on restraint. Temperature is the hero. You also get the name you chose, humidity, dew point, pressure, and battery. That's it. Presented in clear, familiar iOS visual style.
Ilma shows what most people want to see when checking a room or a space. Ruuvi's official app and docs cover the rest for power users.
Your iCloud keeps your devices synced, data only you can access.
Ilma does not read tags in the background, and it is not a remote dashboard. It's like analog thermometer, available at location, only digital.

FAQ
- What is Ilma?
- Ilma is a small iPhone app for RuuviTag sensors. Claim a tag nearby, and see a calm native reading.
- Why Ilma?
- I wanted an app that felt built for iOS 26+. Modern, fast, clean, easy to understand — even a little boring.
- Built on restraint. Not all data is equal when it needs to be glanceable. Ruuvi Station already has the full toolkit.
- Who is it for?
- In short, for me, initially. The concept follows my own needs. The app does what I think it needs to do, while you are next to the sensor.
- How much does it cost?
- Ilma is free. No ads, no tracking.
- There is a Tip Jar if you want to buy me a coffee. It is not required, and Ilma will not nag.
- Why does the App Store say In-App Purchases?
- Tips go through Apple, so the listing shows In-App Purchases. Tipping is optional. The full app works without it.
